Can you follow the same routine we follow at home?
We know how important it is to support families so we’ll do our best to incorporate aspects of your home routine. You will find we provide a more structured day in the Preschool room in order to prepare your child for school.
What do I need to pack for my child’s day?
We provide just about everything, so you only need to pack a hat, water bottle, change of clothes and a sheet set. Favourite teddies always welcome!
Do you provide meals?
Yes, we provide all meals including a nutritious breakfast, a hot lunch and morning and afternoon tea. Check our yummy menus.
Your child’s day
Although each day’s schedule varies, the general routine for your preschooler looks like this:
8.00am: Outdoor play
9.00am: Morning tea
10.00am: Indoor play and art
11.00am: Planned group learning activities
11.45 pm: Hot lunch
12:30pm: Nap time or indoor activities
2.00pm: Outdoor play
3.00 pm: Afternoon tea (indoor/storytime and music)
4.00pm: Outdoor play and ball game skills
4.30pm: Late snack
54.30pm: Indoor play
The Preschool program
Our Preschool program reflects the key learning areas and outcomes prescribed by the Early Years Framework.
The framework outlines the learning outcomes for children:
